About SoloHazlo

What is SoloHazlo?

SoloHazlo is a platform of online tools focused on solving common tasks with PDF documents, Office files, images, audio and video in a practical way, right from the browser.

The project started with a simple idea: to keep a task like compressing a file, merging several documents or extracting a few pages from turning into a complicated process that requires installing extra software.

What can you do on SoloHazlo?

We currently offer 30 tools: to compress, merge, split, reorder, protect, redact and edit PDF files; to convert between PDF and Word, Excel, PowerPoint or JPG; to compress and convert images; and to convert, compress, trim and merge audio and video.

Each tool is designed around a specific task, with instructions and options related to what the user wants to do.

One tool for each task

Instead of cramming every feature into a complex interface, SoloHazlo separates the operations so you can go straight to the tool you need.

For example, you can visually rearrange a document's pages, select only the pages you want to extract, or mark the areas you need to redact before generating the resulting file.

Temporary file processing

Some operations require processing the document on our systems. Files, jobs and temporary resources associated with processing currently expire after approximately one hour.

Once that period has passed, our system runs periodic cleanup processes to delete them automatically. SoloHazlo is not designed as a permanent document storage service.

You can find more detailed information about how files and data are handled in our Privacy Policy.

Ongoing development and improvement

SoloHazlo is still being developed. We review the existing tools to improve how they work, their clarity and ease of use, and we may add new features when they're useful for the platform.

Our goal is to keep tools that are understandable, useful and focused on solving specific problems without adding unnecessary complexity.
