Rearrange your PDF pages while seeing them

An appendix that ended up at the start, a page scanned out of order, or a cover page that landed at the end: small mistakes, but they make a document look careless when you hand it in. Scanning or exporting everything again to fix it is a waste of time.

With SoloHazlo you load your PDF, see a thumbnail of each page and drag them into place. Since you can see what's on each page, you don't have to guess page numbers. When you're done, you create a new PDF in the order you set.

When you need to reorder a PDF

Double-sided scans

Many printers scan all the fronts first and then all the backs. The result ends up as 1, 3, 5, 2, 4, 6. With the thumbnails in view, you can interleave them in the right order in a couple of minutes.

Documents you merged from several files

If you combined several PDFs and one ended up in the wrong position, you don't need to start over: move its pages to where they belong.

Homework, reports and theses

Put the cover, table of contents, main content and appendices in the order your school or boss requires before handing it in, without reopening the original document.

Application packets

Some institutions ask for documents in a specific order (for example: application form, ID, supporting documents). Arrange them exactly as the instructions say.

How to reorder pages with SoloHazlo

01

Load your PDF

Select the document from your device. Files of up to 100 MB and 300 pages are supported. Wait a few seconds while the thumbnails are generated.

02

Drag each page into place

On a computer, drag the thumbnail with the mouse. On a phone or tablet, press and hold the page's ⋮⋮ icon and slide it to its new position; that way you can keep scrolling through the list without moving pages by accident.

03

Create the reordered PDF

When the order is right, press "Create reordered PDF". If you picked the wrong file, use "Load another PDF" to start again.

04

Download and check

Download the result and flip through it quickly to confirm every page ended up where you wanted.

Tips for reordering long documents

Start with the pages that go first. Place the cover and first pages first; the rest falls into place and it's easier to spot what's missing.

Use headers and logos as a guide. In documents that look alike (invoices, receipts, statements), look at the date or reference number visible in the thumbnail to sort them chronologically.

Extra pages? This tool changes the order but keeps every page. If you also need to remove some, afterwards use Extract pages to keep only the ones you need.

If the result is large, especially with scans, run it through Compress PDF before sending it.

Common problems and how to fix them

I can't drag the pages on my phone

On touch screens, dragging is done from each thumbnail's ⋮⋮ icon. Press and hold it for a moment, then slide. If you touch another part of the page, the screen will just scroll.

The thumbnails take a while to appear

In documents with many pages or high-resolution scans, generating the previews can take a little longer. Wait until it finishes before you start moving pages.

My document has more than 300 pages

Split it into parts with Extract pages, reorder each part separately, and then combine them with Merge PDF.

I get an error when loading the PDF

The file may be password-protected or damaged. Open it on your computer to check. If the problem continues, try again in a few minutes.

What happens to your documents

Your PDF is used to show you the thumbnails and to create the document in the new order. Files sent to the server are deleted automatically shortly after processing. We don't look at the content of your documents or share them with third parties.

Your original file isn't changed: SoloHazlo creates a new PDF with the pages in the order you chose.

Frequently asked questions about organizing PDFs

Is quality lost when reordering?

No. The pages only change position; their content, text and images stay exactly the same as in the original.

Can I reorder pages from several PDFs at once?

First combine them into one with Merge PDF and then load that file here to arrange all the pages together.

What's the size and page limit?

Up to 100 MB and 300 pages per document.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. The thumbnails adapt to the screen and you can move pages with the ⋮⋮ icon. For very long documents, a bigger screen makes the job more comfortable.

Does it cost anything, or do I need to sign up?

No. Organize PDF is free and doesn't require an account. The site is supported by ads.
