Share your numbers without them shifting

Sending an Excel file has its risks: the other person can change a formula by accident, see hidden columns, or open it on a phone and find an unreadable table. Converting the spreadsheet to PDF freezes the data as it is and makes the report look tidy on any device.

SoloHazlo converts every sheet in the workbook. You can keep the print area and page setup you defined in Excel, or have each sheet fit completely on a single page, with no columns cut off.

Which layout option should I choose?

As printed

Uses the paper size, orientation, margins, print area and page breaks you set up in Excel. It's the best option if the file is already prepared to print on Letter pages.

One page per sheet

Each sheet in the workbook becomes a single page sized so it fits completely. Ideal for very wide tables that would otherwise be split across several pages.

How to convert Excel to PDF step by step

01

Prepare your file

The workbook's sheets are converted in order. If there are sheets you don't want to include, delete them from a copy of the file before uploading it.

02

Upload the file and choose the layout

If your tables are wide or you didn't set up printing, choose "One page per sheet".

03

Convert and check

You'll see how many pages the PDF has. If a table got split, convert again with the other option.

How to prepare the sheet in Excel for a better result

Set the print area. Select the cells you want to show and go to Page Layout → Print Area → Set Print Area. That way the PDF will include only that part.

Fit to one page wide. In Page Layout → Scale to Fit, set the width to "1 page" and the height to "Automatic". The columns won't be split anymore.

Use landscape orientation for tables with many columns, and repeat the headers on each page with Print Titles → Rows to repeat at top.

Check the values, not the formulas. The PDF shows the calculated result of each formula. If you see #REF! or #N/A, fix it in Excel before converting.

Common problems and how to fix them

My table got cut across several pages

Convert again with the "One page per sheet" option, or in Excel set the print width to one page as explained above.

Sheets I didn't want show up

Every sheet in the workbook is included. Remove the ones you don't need from the PDF with Extract pages, or delete them from a copy of the file before converting.

The text looks very small

It happens when a very large sheet is fitted to a single page. Use "As printed" and set up printing in Excel in landscape orientation or several pages tall.

It says the file couldn't be opened

Check that the workbook doesn't have an open password and that it opens properly on your computer. Files with macros (XLSM) aren't accepted; save a copy as XLSX.

My CSV shows up all in one column

CSV files must be comma-separated. If yours uses semicolons, open it in Excel and save it as XLSX before converting.

What happens to your files

Your spreadsheet is sent to our server only to convert it. The original file is deleted as soon as the PDF is ready, and the PDF is available through a private link that's deleted automatically shortly after. Macros aren't run. We don't look at your data or share it with third parties.
